Boys Athlete of the Week: Billy Cosh, Arundel, football
The senior quarterback led the Wildcats to
a 46-25 come-from-behind victory at Anne Arundel County opponent Meade on
Friday, overcoming a shaky first half to throw for 364 yards and six
touchdowns.
Arundel (4-1) trailed 19-6 late in the first half before
Cosh, in his first season as a starter, threw five touchdown passes in the
second half. He completed 26 of 41 for the game and went 13-for-16 for 225 yards
in the second half. Four of his touchdown throws went to Syracuse-bound senior
wide receiver Alec Lemon, including the last three in the fourth
quarter.
In five games this season, Cosh has connected on 99 of 157
passes for 1,385 yards and 20 touchdowns.
